Domotica is the concept of centralisation and simplification of operations in a normal residence. Domotica is generally conceived as a luxury - which may be true - but for us it is not superfluous. The power to be able to command with a push of a button has many advantages. This way, one can switch off the lights with one push of a button, with or without switching off some electrical outlets. By doing so, one can avoid that lights remain switched on needlessly, that some electrical equipment could cause damage by staying switched on. In a similar way, one push of a button can switch the heating on standby, with much less energy consumption as a consequence.
